International shipping is $45.

For the 4.0 rack mount unit, shipping is $35 anywhere in the lower 48 states, $65 To Canada, and $90 International for Priority Mail. Insurance is $5 extra.

Hand-built and wired "Aric Audio Systems", Stereo Tube Preamplifier 3.7. This preamp features 2.5 volt output, with 1 volt input per channel (approx. 10 db @ 1 volt input). The perfect Tube-Stage to add warmth and realism to any music format. The sound quality of this unit is ultra-clean, and resolved with excellent definition without harshness. It features 3 sets of Stereo R.C.A. Inputs, and (2) sets of Stereo outputs (R.C.A. & xlr), for running mains and a subwoofer, or just two seperate amps. The XLR's are NOT balanced, it is simply pin 1 & 3 tied together for +3db more at the output. The signal is noiseless though.

This is Aric's own design, not a clone or copy of another preamp. He personally has designed and built this unit from the ground up, because he believes it will last longer and perform better. It is fully 100% analogue, and has no chips or ic's at all in the circuit. Every part of the unit was chosen for the way it works in the system, there's no under-rated parts that will fail in a few years. Aric uses only parts that are rated higher than what the preamp's requirements are- so the unit remains steady and reliable. The great thing about this preamp, is that you can "Tube Roll" different N.O.S., or current production tubes to tweak the tone infinitely. Unit includes a pair of excellent sounding vintage 12au7's (brand may vary- but all are tested prior to shipping).

The 3.7 Preamp is an upgraded 3.6, with a higher-voltage power supply, upgraded R.C.A. jacks, and beefier power switches in a Hammond aluminum chassis, painted a High-gloss piano Black. Features include an ALPS Stereo Potentiometer, an input-trim, stand-by switch, High-Quality U.S.A.-made Source Selector switch with copper & Ceramic construction, rubber bottom feet, and chromed tube guards. This basic, yet extremely High-End unit connects via Stereo gold-plated r.c.a. inputs & outputs, Dimensions on this preamp are as follows: 7" Wide X 7" deep X 4.25" tall (with Tubes installed).

Please note: This unit is a preorder and will be built upon ordering. Finish options are Hammered Silver, Gloss Black, or Gloss Burgundy. If no finish is noted, unit will be finished in Gloss black.

There is no 'phono' stage built-in, so you would need an external phono stage run in between your turntable and preamplifier. It can be used to replace your Preamp in your existing System, to enhance CD performance by running between the player and your receiver, or by running it through the tape monitor loop. This unit will add a very robust, smooth quality to the sound with more transparency. This unit will be built upon order and ready to ship within 3-4 business days.
